A build manual · 2026 edition

A $10,000 website
built with AI.

The difference between a $300 website and a $10,000 one is not in the code. It is in what it contains, in what order, and in what happens in the first nine seconds. This page is the manual: the full list of what must be there, the AI working route that carries you to delivery, and the test you pass before you hand anything over.

What someone paying $10,000 is actually buying

Not pages. They are buying a system that brings customers and holds up for three years without being rebuilt. The drawings below are the same page at three prices — you can see it in the sketch, before any explanation.

The template

A stock photo, filler text, three equal boxes. Looks like ten thousand others.

The manual: what it must contain

The list here is read from the files uploaded into the page. You drag the `.md` or the PDF into the box and the page breaks it open by itself into chapters and points, with tick boxes. The file itself stays whole and can be opened at any time from the link — only the list goes into the page, not the text spilled out in full.

The file stays whole and downloads from the link; only the list goes into the page.
Drag your list here (.md, .txt or .pdf)

Anyone can come in, no password: you upload and tick directly. Whatever is put here once stays — a name already in use is saved alongside, as “list-2.md”, and nothing can be deleted from the page. Maximum 12 MB per file.

The AI route, in eight steps

The order is not decorative. Each step prepares the material for the next one; skip the first and the AI writes you a beautiful site about nothing. The prompts are the ones you give exactly as they are, word for word.

01 DIAGNOSIS 02 STRUCTURE 03 COPY 04 DIRECTION 05 ASSETS 06 BUILD 07 SPEED 08 HANDOVER
Skip the first step and everything after it is a beautiful site about nothing.
  1. The diagnosis, not the design

First you find out who the site sells to and what stops the customer from buying. Without that, the rest is decoration. Go through the competition and pull out what every one of them is missing.

You are a marketing strategist. My client: [what they do, for whom, in which city]. Give me: 1) the 5 real objections that stop a buyer before they get in touch, 2) what people type into Google when they have this need, in their own words, 3) what every competitor says identically, and where the gap is, 4) one single sentence saying what the customer is actually buying. No generalities. If you lack data, say what is missing.
  2. The architecture: which pages exist, and why

Every page has a purpose and an action. A page with no action is a cost.

Based on the diagnosis above, give me the site map: each page with — its purpose in one sentence, who lands on it, from which source, what the person does at the end, and what proof they must see in order to do it. Maximum 7 pages. Tell me which pages should NOT be built, and why.
  3. The copy, before any design

You write all the real copy, section by section. The design is then made around that copy, not the other way round — otherwise you end up writing copy to fill a box.

Write the copy for the home page, section by section. Rules: short sentences; zero filler words (“innovative”, “complete solutions”); every claim carries proof (a number, a year, a name, a guarantee); the headline talks about their customer, not about the company. For each section give me: a headline, 2–3 lines, and the button text.
  4. The visual direction: three words and one reference

You choose the palette, the two typefaces and the rhythm. You write the direction in three words and hold to it to the end — this is where most sites are lost.

The direction: [e.g. “near-black background, ambient light, editorial typography”]. Give me the system: 6 colours, each with its role and its contrast against the background (minimum 4.5:1), two typefaces that work together (an editorial serif for headings + a sans for body), a 6-step type scale, the grid, the radii, the shadows. Write them as CSS variables, with clear names.
  5. Your own assets

This is where the money shows: their own photos and video, not stock. If none exist, they are generated from real photographs of the place — never from another location.

Give me the list of assets to produce: which photographs, which videos, how many seconds, what is visible in each, where it goes in the page and what text is burned onto it. For each one, a generation prompt based on the real image I already have.
  6. The build

You ask for the code section by section, not the whole site in one prompt. A site asked for in one go always comes out looking like a template.

Build ONLY section [X], using the copy and the system above. Semantic HTML, CSS with the given variables, no framework, no animation library. Mobile first, no horizontal scrolling, a 16px gutter. One discreet element that responds to the cursor. Tell me what you assumed.
  7. Speed and being found

It is measured, not hoped for. Images in modern formats, preloaded fonts, titles and structured data on every page.

Check the page: what slows the load down, and what is missing for Google. Give me the concrete list of things to change, in order of payoff: image dimensions, formats, preloads, title and description on every page, structured data (Organization, LocalBusiness, Service), a sitemap, alt text on images.
  8. The handover

What the client actually receives. Without it, you delivered a link, not a $10,000 piece of work.

Write me the handover document: what the site contains, where the sources live, how to change a piece of text or a photo without a developer, where the passwords are, what gets measured monthly and what the guarantee covers. Written for someone with no technical background.

The nine layers that must exist

If one is missing, the price drops — not gradually, but all at once, because it is exactly what shows on the first visit. They are built from the bottom up: you cannot lay motion over copy that says nothing.

Each layer rests on the one beneath it. Miss one and it shows on the first visit.
LAYER 01

Strategy

Who it sells to, what stops them, what it says in everyone's place. Written down, not guessed.

LAYER 02

Structure

Pages with a purpose, one action per page, a clear road from arrival to contact.

LAYER 03

Textul

Against the objections, with proof. Zero filler. Headlines that say something on their own.

LAYER 04

Identity

Colours with roles, two typefaces, a type scale, rules for use.

LAYER 05

Assets

Your own photos and video. Stock shows, and it shows that there was no budget.

LAYER 06

Motion

Elements that answer the cursor and the scroll, discreetly. Not carousels.

LAYER 07

Performance

Under 2 seconds on a phone, no layout jumps, no waste.

LAYER 08

Discovery

Titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap, a page per service.

LAYER 09

Predarea

Sources, manual, passwords, guarantee, what gets measured monthly. In the client's hands.

CH. 05

Proba de livrare

It is passed before any link is sent to the client. If one dial fails, the site is not ready — however good it looks.

1.9s LOAD TIME TARGET: UNDER 2s 4.8:1 CONTRAST TARGET: 4.5:1 AA 46px BUTTON ON A PHONE TARGET: MIN 44px 0 DEAD LINKS TARGET: ZERO
Four dials measured, not assumed. All green, or the link does not go out.

On a phone, on a poor connection

Load under 2 seconds. No horizontal scrolling. A 16px gutter. Buttons of at least 44px. The text reads without zooming.

Contrast and accessibility

Body text at least 4.5:1, headings 3:1. Everything you can do with a mouse you can also do from the keyboard. Images carry real alt text.

Every road leads somewhere

No dead links, no form that fails to send, no “Lorem”. A thank-you message after sending, and a copy that arrives by email.

Google sees what it should

A unique title and description on every page, valid structured data, a sitemap, and a sharing image that looks right in WhatsApp.

It survives mistakes

A 404 page that takes you back into the site. HTTPS everywhere. No console errors. It looks right in the dark and in the light.

The client is left with something

Sources, passwords, instructions for changing a piece of text, a backup, and a page where they can see the month's numbers.
